Altitude Quest Adventure invites you for one of the beautiful day trails walks in the dense forest of Andharban, in Tamhini ghat of Sahyadris.

Details about the event: Type: Hilly, Forest Fort Range: Tamhini District: Pune Grade: Easy+ Trail Time: Approx. 5-6 hrs. (Depends on the speed of trail walkers) Distance From Andheri: 140KM Travel time: Approx. 4.30+ hrs.

About Andharban: Andharban is a trail through the thickest forest and endless trudge. It provides the magnificent and breath-taking views of mountain ranges of Tamhini ghat and a plus valley, known as the source of Kundalika river. The trail passes through numerous waterfalls and streams and which covers you with shade in the first 6-8 km of the trek, and then a complete descend for another 3-4 km which finally ends at Bhira dam. Andharban as the name itself means Andhra - dark, ban- forest, a dark forest. Andharban is an ancient Sahyadri pass which joins the ghat with Konkan area.

Pick up Points: � 11:00 pm – SGNP, Borivali � 11:25 pm – WEH, Andheri � 11:40 pm – Mumbai University, Vakola � 12:30 am – Vashi Plaza � 1:00 am – McDonald's, Kalamboli Panvel Itinerary: Day: Saturday 11:00 pm bus start from Borivali, en-route pick up till Panvel.

Day: Sunday 04:30 am - Reach Pimpri dam, i.e. the start point of our trek 05:30 am - rest in the bus 05:45 am - breakfast will be provided. 06:00 am - Commencement of the trek after briefing and a short introduction 12 Noon Reach Bhira dam, i.e. the Endpoint of our trek 01:00 pm Lunch at Bhira 02:00 pm - Lunch at Bhirastart for Mumbai 07:00 pm - Mumbai (tentative time)
