Rajgad, The Ruling Fort: Rajgad, previously known as Murumdev, was the capital of the Maratha Empire during the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, after which he moved the capital to Raigad Fort. Rajgad boasts of the highest number of days stayed by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on any fort. The fort has witnessed lots of historical events, including the birth of Shivaji’s son Rajaram, the death of Shivaji’s Queen Saibai, the return of Shivaji from Agra, the burial of Afzal Khan’s head in the Mahadarwaja walls of BalleKilla.

About Torna Torna fort previously known as Prachandagad, the first fort captured by Shivaji Maharaj at the young age of 16, Torna became the most glorious chapter in the history of Shivaji’s conquests.

Itinerary Day 0: Friday Night 10:50 pm Meet at SGNP, Borivali (E) 11:00 pm Bus will start from SGNP Day 1: Saturday 05:00 am Reach Gunjavne, the base village for Rajgad 06:00 am Start trek after breakfast 10:00 am Reach Rajgad top 01:00 pm Enjoy lunch 04:00 pm Start descending towards Torna 09:00 pm Reach Torna Fort 10:00 pm Dinner time, Retire for the day Day 2: Sunday 06:00 am Wake up to a glorious sunrise, explore the fort 07:00 am Post Breakfast, Explore the Fort 10:00 am Start descending from Torna 01:00 pm Reach base village and Have Veg / NonVeg Lunch 03:00 pm Start return journey by bus 09:00 pm Reach Mumbai

✔Notes: 1) Age limit eight years and above. 2) Please do not carry any valuable things for this event. 3) Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited 4) If you plan to opt out during trek, then you have to make your arrangements. 5) The tour takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites. 6) While making a payment, please mention the trip name in remark option. Cancellation and Refund are applicable on tour cost: 1. If cancellation made before 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded 2. If done before ten days of outing 50% will be refunded 3. After that, no refund will be given.
