About Kedarkantha: Kedarkantha is one of the finest climbs for beginners. Kedarkantha is a 6-day long trek in Govind Pashu Vihar National Park in Uttarakhand. 6 days including the travel from Dehradun to the base camp and back.

Based in Western Garhwal in the Uttarakashi district, the Kedarkantha Trek is known for being one of the easy treks of the country which can be attended by beginners. As the altitude rises, the air becomes thin, and it can become a bit tricky, without proper physical fitness.

Itinerary: 26th Feb, Day 1: Arrival at Dehradun Airport, Travel to Sankri Altitude: 6,400 feet 220 km drive - approx 10 hours Pick up will be arranged from Dehradun at 1 PM in a Tata Sumo or similar vehicle, expected time of arrival time at Sankri – 9 PM.

27th Feb, Day 2: Sankri to Juda-ka-Talab Altitude: 6,400 feet to 9,100 feet 4 km trek, approximate time 5 hours The trail passes through dense pine forests, maple trees, few streams and finally, opens out to beautiful meadows stay in tents.

28th Feb, Day 3: Juda-ka-Talab to Kedarkantha base Altitude: 9,100 feet to 11,250 feet 4 km trek, approx 2.5 hours most of today's trail is on a ridge, under oak trees you will also pass through some meadows where you can spot shepherd log huts peaks:- Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kalanag and Ranglana stand among the others stay in tents.

1st Mar, Day 4: Kedarkantha base to Kedarkantha peak; descend to Hargaon camp Altitude: 11,250 feet to 12,500 feet to 8,900 feet 6 km trek, approx 7 hours spend some time at the summit and descend back to the base camp by noon for lunch post-lunch, descend to Hargaon. We will reach Hargaon by evening followed by a stay in tents.

2nd Mar, Day 5: Hargaon camp to Sankri Altitude: 8,900 feet to 6,400 feet 6 km trek, approx 4 hours descend 2500 feet through dense pine forests

3rd Mar, Day 6: Departure day (Sankri to Dehradun) distance: 220 km drive, approx 10 hours to reach Dehradun Airport in a Traveller bus or a similar vehicle.

Other Essential things - Toilet Kit - toothbrush, toothpaste, small soap, toilet tissue roll, a moisturiser cream, lip balm, and a roll-on deodorant. - Lunch box, a mug and a spoon - Trash Bags for used things

Personal Medical Kit - Dolo 650 (5 tablets): This is paracetamol. It helps to tackle fever, mild pain. - Avomine (4 tablets): Carry this, especially if you are prone to motion sickness. Take one-half hour before the start of your road journey. - Combiflam (5 tablets): Take it if you get a sudden twist of the leg or a muscle strain. It is a pain reliever. It also contains paracetamol. - Digene (4 tablets): Take it if you feel the food that you've taken is undigested. Also, alert trek leader immediately as it could be a sign of AMS. - ORS (6 packs): Consume one ORS with water at least once a day, usually at mid-day when you are in the middle of your trek. - Knee Braces: Carry them if you are prone to knee injury or have known issues of knee pain.

Cancellation and Refund are applicable on the trek cost: 1. Any cancellation 30 days before the trek, AQ will refund 90% of the trek fees. 2. If done before 15 days of outing 50% will be refunded 3. After that, will not be able to give any refund.
